Flat 4, 2 Victoria Street

The accommodation was easy to get to. Very handy for the City. Beds were comfortable. Also had a fair amount of kitchen utensils and plenty of tea bags, coffee etc.

The sofa was uncomfortable. WiFi was atrocious. It kept dropping out and in that end it dropped completely. We couldn't watch TV as it is connected via the internet. No Terrestrial channels available either. So we went to bed. The place could have been a bit cleaner also. A fair amount of dust about the whole place. Only one plug available in the bedroom to charge your phone. I would have thought a fair length of an extension lead would have been there to suit the other side of the bed. Also no bath towels provided only hand towels. I don't know how you are expected to dry yourself with a small hand towel. The shower could have been a bit cleaner also. No milk was provided and after travelling a fair distance I would have expected at least a pint of milk for a cup of tea or coffee.

The apartment was lovely and well positioned. The beds were very comfortable. Amazing views from all the windows.

The location was very handy for the town. Ample free on-street parking near the flat.

It wasn't the host's fault, but as soon as we entered the apartment there was a very unpleasant cooking smell in the kitchen that lingered throughout our 4 night stay. The flat had been cleaned before our arrival, but this could have been more thorough, especially in the kitchen. The flat is on a very busy road, and the double glazing was not adequate to cut out enough of the traffic noise. There was a marked lack of kitchen utensils (no corkscrew, bottle opener, potato peeler or can opener) although the host did buy some when we mentioned this during our stay. The building in which the flat is situated and the land around it were not attractive.
