Patsy's Patios By The Sea - 101 Demere Oaks Circle

From the moment you step out of your car, the wonderful experience begins. An aqua-green arched gate welcomes you to Patty’s Patio,and with that first step know you’re found your vacation home away from home. Patty’s Patio deserves its five-star rating for so many reasons. I travel light, and everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided-from the beautiful master bedroom with a walk-in shower,to two additional bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked for those who prefer to prepare their meals,and all outdoor amenities were readily available. The pool was prefect for a refreshing dip, and the hot tub was ideal for a relaxing late night soak. The decor and furnishing were lovely, and the landscaping was exceptional. You’re approximately a few short blocks from the beach with public access. This property is truly a gem,and I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for relaxing stay in St. Simons, Georgia.

The location to the beach was great! 10 minute walk and close enough to hear the ocean at night. Area felt safe and cozy. The house itself was decorated nicely, beds comfortable and a tv in every room. Large kitchen and outdoor areas were very fun. Loved the pool!

There were a few things that were extremely frustrating. The breaker kept tripping when using anything in the kitchen. The breaker box was locked up in the garage, so we kept having to put in a request to have someone come unlock the garage just so we could get things working again. There were 2 days where the kitchen was out of commission for 5+ hours, only day being the refrigerator. No cleaning supplies were left out (broom, vacuum) and it’s a beach vacation, so sand accumulated everywhere. Also, we were only given 5 rolls on toilet paper for 4 nights and 7 people. If I am paying almost $3k for this stay, I don’t think I should have to go out and buy for toilet paper. We did run out with 1 day left and had to get our own. The pool has cool features, however, the pool features box is locked up and on a timer, so we could not turn on the fountains or jets and the lights only came on at night when it was pitch black (after 830pm) and we were all done swimming for the day. The living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable. It was small and felt more “office casual” than comfy cozy home furniture. The kitchen utensils were stocked well, but there was only salt and pepper for basic kitchen needs. I’ve never stayed at an air bnb that didn’t have a basic small bag of flour, sugar, stocked spices, etc.
