Host & Stay - Studio Pods

Perfect location near the train station and near to shops and easy to get the the beach etc. Well equipped and comfortable

Had difficulty with the keys - the code was unclear - mistook a B for an 8. Main issue was the noise from the pod upstairs. No soundproofing so I heard every footstep - very loud.

Location was perfect

They did not inform us of the code for the keybox by email as they said would be the case. Attempts to contact someone when the code had not arrived by 4pm failed. We eventually found a text message with the code

The pods are in a good location and well appointed.

We were aware of other guests staying in the pod above us as the floor boards were very creaky!

The room was clean, tidy and roomy and the facilities were good. The house is well placed in Saltburn being just across the road from the Railway Station and shops and restaurants. The beach is only 5 mins away. Milton Road has a lot of unrestricted parking so it is possible to park close by.

Compact and comfortable studio apartment right in the centre of town, really close to everything. Well decorated and spotless.

Lovely self contained studio done to a very high standard and everything you needed even complimentary tea, coffee and coffee pods and sachets of milk on arrival. The location is great on the main street. Good communication too at all times.

We had to pay £20 to cover deposit for property none returnable or pay £150 for deposit and provided everything ok £140 would be returned taking a £10 admin fee - sorry don't agree with this and didn't see till after we had booked.

Location and kitchen facilities

The laminate floor means can hear all other tenants/holidaymakers

Furniture/appliances all good, location very convenient - Sainsburys nearby most useful

I had difficulty using some of the appliances, no manuals or instructions available, I phoned Host and Stay re this but it took 7 phone calls and 2hrs before the problem was resolved. The damage protection requirement was not mentioned before booking. I have informed Host and Stay of these issues.

Saltburn is very quiet but weather was not good so this could have been reason. Not a lot there but suited us. Very nice place and will return. The studio pods we stayed in was very clean the bed was very comfortable would definitely recommend it. Location couldn't have been better.

We paid a insurance for if anything got damaged. Wasn't told about this until we booked and payed. This was put on extra after you can not get key code until it is paid. We got a message off host asking if anything got damaged would we inform them if we didn't we would be charged. Isn't the insurance we paid for that. Either way we would inform them.
