The City Escape - 5* stay in the heart of Glasgow!

Great location, clean , good facilities and comfy.

Intercom didnt work at all so ordering from uber was a nightmare as its a VERY long maze walk to the apartment from entrance.

The flat was soo cold. The street noise especially the bin lorries early hours of the morning was terrible. None of the complaints from a few years ago I read in reviews had been resolved. Apartment was soo cold. Shower was terrible. Seal and bath panel still not fixed. Bed and mattress was uncomfortable, no TV in bedroom. I complained via booking.com as was called after we got home accusing us of not putting key back in keysafe. The whole stay just not what it looks like or how it's described. Avoid.

The location was great, the apartments was clean, stylish and everything worked.

The windows were paper thin and didn’t have a secondary window pane which meant you could hear everything outside which made it increasingly difficult to sleep, you would almost get woken up by every car that went by. The bed was rather uncomfortable as the mattress felt very old and worn out. You could feel the springs underneath you. After 2 nights of this, I did wake up with minor back pain which wasn’t great. I did message the host on the morning of departure to raise these concerns but haven’t heard anything back as of yet. Apart from this, It was a good stay.

Everything about the apartment was excellent, I enjoyed myself. I felt like not leaving. Very neat and arranged.

As usual absolutely loved it, perfect location probably my 10th booking now at this property never had a single issue with this property but I know if I had the host is fantastic at replying and would solve any issue.

The apartment was spotlessly clean (apart from the blinds needed dusting but with the height of the windows I imagine that is not an easy job). Tehmeena was so friendly and helpful, a lovely host. The directions for getting into the apartment were excellent. We had a problem with no hot water from the taps and someone came out straight away and sorted it (it was just a switch that had been switched off accidentally, possibly by the last guest). The apartment was equipped with everything you could need.

Unfortunately the bed was small and uncomfortable. It creaked everytime you moved and the mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable (which is such a shame as this is the only thing that let it down but it is an important thing). There were a couple of things in the bathroom that need sorting out, the seal on the shower screen is split and needs replacing and the shower leaks where the shower head connects to the hose but that just needs a washer so these are quick fixes. Those things didn't really affect our stay but I feel need pointing out.
