90 San Luis Street Unit B

I loved sitting in the living room, watching the waves from less than a block away! The kitchen was stocked with all things needed in a kitchen. The queen bed was adequate. I loved that the property was a stones throw away from the quaint Avila Beach township, with some restaurants, shopping, and beach. I kept my car in the parking lot. I loved the cotton beach towel, given as a gift for staying! Nice touch and I used it at the beach. The booking process was easy and the management company was communicative with instructions in a timely fashion.

This is a downstairs unit and there is not too much insulation to dampen the noise from the people upstairs. I am not a fan of microfiber sheets which were on the bed otherwise the bed was very comfortable. There is construction going on across the road, while I was there, with the hammers and saws starting at 7am. A heads up on that might have been nice.

Location was perfect. Everything was great.

the shower head is low. apparently we were staying in a handicapped room. it would have been nice to know in advance. The bed is uncomfortable and the pillows are so thin. It was NOT worth the 1400 for 3 nights.

Only issue was the thin walls. We listened to unit B all weekend. Music, phone conversations, playing cards...we heard everything like they were sitting right next to us. We left early Sunday morning...

Giant exit/floodlights seemed odd, out of place in this place. No A/C was an issue. climate change is here.

I was hoping it was right on the beach, but being just a few doors up was great too.
