Spectacular Seaview - Beach House - 2br - Sleeps 6

Amazing Location, well presented property, Lounge Sea View is great with a cuppa in the morning.

Only minor things, light in bathroom went off during use - pull cord to bathroom light looked like it was about to break - tbf to the host, I'm unsure how aware they were of the issues, and these items only minor inconvenience during a really nice stay - would recommend the holiday let.

Location was excellent. The house was nicely proportioned, light and spacious. Fantastic sea views from the bedrooms and living room. Handover was easy and there is ample parking.

The kitchen could really do with a refurb. The cooker and units, though all perfectly functional are out of the 70’s. There’s no dishwasher, single sink, very tired units. In the short term, a bowl in the kitchen sink would be beneficial. In the medium term a kitchen refit and inclusion of a dishwasher would really lift the place. The entrance gate on the driveway is very narrow and could do with widening.

The house is located right in front of the beach. The road was very quiet, although it might be different in summer. It is well equipped and we cooked some meals there. The beds are very comfortable. Sitting room is very cosy and comfortable too. The house is very warm and spacious, and has a nice shower. We would come back and recommend it to our friends.

Reservation procedure (deposit) was quite confusing. I tried paying deposit but my bank cancelled transaction, which I didn't notice. I kept on receiving the message looking the same and asking to complete reservation requirements and thought it was an automated message. Hence check-in wasn't as smooth as I expected. It might be worth messaging the guests and highlighting the issue if you see that they have completed some of the requirements but not all. I came across this for the first time and didn't know about the issue until we had to check-in. So my advice is read all messages.

The property had everything we needed, was easy to access and the views were incredible. It’s simple but perfect

The kitchen is a little bit dated but it’s still functional so wasn’t a problem.
