Accommodation was tidy. Bathrooms and toilets good. Large carpark. Very warm with elaborate wood fired heading reticulated through the premises.

Location was quite remote by Japanese standards. Definitely need a car for convenience. The day before arrival received a message about downloading an app so they could send a QR code so I could use bluetooth to activate the door lock. Half an hour later decoding the Japanese website and registering etc. The next day they simply sent a code for a lockbox with the key. Half hour of my day wasted unnecessarily filling out webforms for no reason it would appear. No sign of bluetooth lock etc. What was that all about apart from harvesting my personal data?

There wasn’t enough cooking facilities as there was only one single electric cooker and rice cooker for cooking, not allowed using gas cooker that they have, despite I booked there without meals and intended to cook nice meal for my children and I love cooking. You can only cook easy food or just warm it up. Also they prefer is to take all rubbish with us despite we were travelling. I had to tell them that we leave all rubbish there. When lighting the stove, the air draught was slow to form and smoke was backfiring into the room. The chimney needs cleaning, and I'm worried about a flue fire. Burning too many comfier, I suppose.

建物の構造が素敵でした。屋根が高いので、エアコンがなくても、各部屋のサーキュレーターで空気が程よく涼しく保たれていました。浴室とシャワー室があり、洗面台も2箇所あり助かりました。寝室2箇所や、浴室の脱衣所には、鍵もあり、友達と泊まってもプライベートが保たれると思いました。トイレも男女に分かれていて、手洗い場もあるので、良かったです。5人家族で泊まるのに、充分過ぎるスペースと、各箇所に泊まる人への配慮が感じられ、とても感動しました。地域に貢献しようとする経営者の皆さんの考え方も素敵です。

Nice, warm place easy to find on the main road. Keys were easy to collect, using an app that connected to the Bluetooth lock.

Just make sure you have enough battery on your phone as the key will need an app and Bluetooth.
