This property exceeded my expectations in that we had a the cleaning staff come through daily so the place was very clean, it provided every appliance one required , despite me not using any, except the kettle, i was more than happy about the location and the views were second to none, despite it being on the side of the ocean we still were able to soak in the view which is why we chose the venue at the price.

The towels were not bath towels they were too small, and i did struggle not having fresh towels daily as I dont normally stay in self catering so I normally receive fresh towels in a hotels I choose. The water from te shower door leaked through and messed up the bath room space which made i look unkept. The taxi and car noise was a huge disturbance during the night and early hours of the morning , that was horrendous.

Bathroom floor always gets very wet after shower as water seeps through under shower door

The location was brilliant - the building forms part of the Oceans Mall shopping centre where the shopping and restaurants were incredible, and it was a very short walk to the beach / ocean promenade with all the cafes and restaurants on and around it. The view of Durban city, the ocean, the Lighthouse and the Whalebone pier from the apartment was sensational. The apartment was also well appointed and quite spacious for a couple - the sofa was incredibly comfortable. Also a tip to help find the Oceans Apartment - they form part of the Radisson Blu complex and the reception is right beside the reception to hotel (adjacent to the entry to the car park).

Clean and tide plus the location
