The housekeeper Mbali. She really made us comfortable. The security lady at reception with dreadlocks. The staff was amazing. They made us feel like home. The view and the apartment itself.

The grill was rusty, which is the main reason we went with this room. We wanted to be able to grill sometimes. We ended up not doing so. The toilet had to be flushed about 3 or 4 times before everything was gone. The door number was 807 instead of 1807. The air-conditioning sometimes would not work.

Location is great. The views and furnishings were good as well.

1. The unit had no back-up power. I was not informed of this beforehand. For the location and rate, I expected back-up power. 2. I left behind my toiletry bag. The housekeeper lied that she didn't see it. That dishonesty is unacceptable. And i tipped her a s a thank you.

Perfect, quiet home to stay in Durban. Walkable neighborhood with shops and restaurants. Lovely cleaning service. Great view of the ocean.

The shower drain doesn't work properly, the whole bathroom floor is under water.
