Glass House with Private River & 360° Views

Gut ausgestattete, geräumige Unterkunft mit wunderbarem Ausblick in alle Richtungen. Wir haben die Ruhe in der Natur sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

This was an ABNB so no breakfast. The property was lovely with great views around. Very spacious lounge/diner/kitchen. We were only there for one night but there were some lovely walks nearby. Bed was comfortable. Basic supplies were ok. There were restaurants on site but we did not use them

Only a couple of minor items. Would have been useful to have a cloth for wiping sides and cooker top down. The duvet on the bed in my room was a bit thin and i did get chilly in the night. The lighting over the kitchen area could have been a bit brighter.

The location was fantastic! Remote with beautiful views and plenty of lovely walks on your door step. The place felt secluded and very cosy. It was really comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the host was really easy. Daniel was very attentive and we felt very welcome. I would highly recommend.

The glass house was a highlight of the trip. The house itself is great- plenty of space, 2 bedrooms, all the supplies you need, a wraparound deck and the views - absolutely amazing!

The house has a large kitchen and living room, the kitchen is fully equipped. Nice view from the house for all serounding. The house has everything you need at home .

Not enough light, small rooms and small beds.

This was hands down our favorite place we stayed in Iceland. We were there at the beginning of our trip, and measured everything else up against this stay. The hosts, Daniel and Samantha were really responsive to all of our questions (including how to turn on the heaters) and we got a good sense of their interests from the decor, which was fun. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the views out the window were indescribably beautiful. Out of one window, the sea. Out of another, mountains, a little river and a waterfall. Out the back, volcano and glacier. I would come back to Iceland just to stay here again. :) We decided to just walk from the house to do the Arnarstapi to Hellnar hike along the sea instead of dealing with the car, and that worked out well. A few basic but cute restaurants just 2 minutes away were helpful for dinner as well, all within sight of Snaefellsnes' own guardian troll statue.
