Spacious 4 Bed Preston Home with Garden & Parking

It was quiet area

Property was disgusted and filthy and not clean at all.Kitchen filthy Very Dirty,Greece fat, cooker dirty,not enough cutlery or enough pots or frying pan, bedroom broken curtain,lamps,shower leeks,ceiling mouldy, sheet mattress blood stains, towels damp,cupboards dirty filthy sheets and mouldy cups.

* Nice hot water for shower and bath. * Clean bathrooms * Good to have an additional toilet downstairs. * All rooms were clean and tidy. * Clean towels with extra if needed. * Rooms on the 2nd floor were spacious. * Prompt response from the host when we encountered a problem which was sorted out quickly. * Parking for 2 cars at the side of the property. * The price was reasonable as there were 7 of us sharing.

* No washing up liquid, cloths or bin bag. * 1 bin bag with rubbish had been left in the garden. * 1 of the beds in the downstairs room was very uncomfortable. * Rooms on ground floor and first floor are quite small so it was difficult to store suitcases and get dressed ready for a variety of wedding events. * All mirrors in rooms were very high and couldn't be used. * Description on booking.com needs updating so guests know exactly what the house includes and what guests will need to bring themselves.

Easy to get the keys. The house was clean and tidy, it was a good size. It was simply decorated and pleasant. The kitchen was a good size and usable as a living space.

Not enough seats for the amount of guests, listed as suitable for 10 however there was only 6 seats in the kitchen. One of the slabs is dangerously loose and moves when stood on. One tea towel. No spatula or tin opener. Not enough pans. The parking was obstructed by a resident The garden was not finished.

The house was in a good location for us to visit family. It was homely. Lots of space throughout the house. Good shower facilities. New carpets and furnishings which was all very nice. Good Wi-Fi and Tv's. Ok parking outside. Was pleased to have a washing machine and freezer. Lots of fresh clean towels and bedding provided. It was warm and cosy when the heating came on. We found we had to put the heating and hot water on at the same time or else some of the radiators wouldn't come on.

The kitchen could have been a lot cleaner ( oven, cupboards, floor, bins etc). There were only 8 of everything in the kitchen cupboards (plates, knives and forks). This was a problem as there were 10 guests!! There were also only 6 dining chairs. Not very equipped kitchen - no utensils, tin opener, colander, plug or washing up bowl. Needs a new broom and a few more cleaning products so guests can clean up after themselves during their stay. I had to borrow items from family so I could cook a meal. The Windows had some issues closing, we couldn't sleep in one of the rooms because they didn't close properly and you could hear the traffic from the main road all night and the wind howling through. The blinds weren't fitted well to the walls ( we were concerned to use them). The voile curtain was completely see-through in the living room (not great when using the sofa bed). Could have done with blackout/ thicker curtains throughout for a better nights sleep. The family bathroom needed a bit of TLC.
