CEC Charm and Light! Lisbon Downtown in Príncipe Real!

Super location and characterful accommodation

Our family holiday in Lisbon was ruined by the hosts' (LXH) lack of service and organization particularly Saturday evening we were locked out of the building in which our apartment was situated. The keypad access wasn't working! After much desperation I rang all my neighbours' bells in the building, fortunately someone answered the door. We were told the electronic key pad entrance was broken and we had to use the building door key. Thinking this was a simple problem to rectify I rang the local 7 Hills office helpline. During a long repetitive discussion constantly going through the building and apartment entrance problems i.e. I couldn’t get in the building but had the apartment key, I was struggling to get the agent who spoke very good English to understand the issue and have a quick clear plan. She seemed convinced that the building door was/should work. I was told several times by the agent that I had 2 keys in the apartment. I responded several times that we found one unlabelled key on a central table and discovered by trial and error that it was the apartment key. We were promised someone would get to us with the key at 10, but 2 hours late someone turned up with the same apartment key we had and not the building key!! So unable to leave the property in case we couldn't get back in we finally got the keys Sunday by midday(after numerous more chases by email and phone). We would like to receive some financial compensation for almost a day of our holiday being ruined but have not received anything except a small box of chocolates!

Le quartier qu’on préfère… Les appareils étaient de bonnes qualités… Les lits et les serviettes étaient propres… Le mur de verre dans la salle à manger est spectaculaire…

L’appartement manque d’amour… Peinture fatiguée, plancher sales et tachés, la douche maculée… En meilleures conditions, cet appartement pourrait se louer plus cher… Malheureusement dans l’état actuel je n’aurais pas payé ce prix…

L'emplacement était bien

Ce n'est pas comme sur les photos, il y avait toujours une odeur d'égout dans la salle de bain et l'équipement est rudimentaire.

La ubicación era la que buscábamos, la facilidad para acceder al apartamento, las camas eran cómodas y tenía lo necesario para pasar unos días

Las ventanas del salón no cerraban correctamente y sería necesario una limpieza un poco más exhaustiva en alguna zona (por ejemplo rodapiés). Pero tampoco fueron cosas que nos impidiera pasar un buen fin de semana
