Nice location very close to the airport if you fly early in the morning or arrive late at night, lovely family they offered us a free drop off in the airport in the morning. Comfortable beds and clean rooms.

Strong humidity smell in the bathroom.

(1) Friendly and helpful owner, who always offered supports during the stay. The owner also let me know about good local places, such as fish market in Negombo, and also local traditions --- very interesting. (2) A clean room with an air conditioner and a fan, which helped me sleep well in Sri Lanka's humid and hot evening. (3) This might not be always the case, but the owner made me a breakfast, which was good! Overall, thanks for such an amazing experience!

It was possible to walk from the airport, but I took a tuktuk for 500LKR as I arrived late, and it simply felt more safe. The family owners were very friendly and helped me find the local bus to go south! Clean room and towels. Would definitely recommend!

Friendly people

As you read in other reviews as well, this is not a hotel but a homestay, which is not a bad thing in itself. When we were there it was not that clean and it is all in need of a good touch up. There was a definite smell to the room which was overpowered by another strong ‘cleaning’ smell. We had some mold in the bathroom, a couple of leaks during the night (which lead us to covering our luggage with ponchos just in case), a fan that started blowing dust through the room when powered on and drapes that are ready for a good cleaning as well. Compared to other places we have stayed in around the airport, this did not feel like a good value, but more like a budget accommodation with higher price.
