Carnelian Tower - Forest City FC4223

- Right next to the sales gallery, the Fisherman's Wharf (main retail area), and the Transport Hub (for bus exit). Even has a retail podium which (as of posting in 2026) is still abandoned and might open - Quiet room, nice view of Tanjung Pelepas. Even includes a combo washer/dryer which means you just need to buy a small pack of detergent (4RM) and you can do a few days of laundry there - Large space for a solo traveller - Really early check in (initially 12 noon, I arrived 11:30ish and hotel staff gave the cards) - Free Wifi - Empty minifridge, so you can store whatever you bought from the supermarket as your pantry.

- Bed did have some funny protruding sensation when sleeping. Not much of a problem but can be noticeable - Dryer did have burning smell. Thought dryer is about to catch fire but seems like it did not. Got so alarmed had to waste 30 minutes going to laundromat (Grab fare 10RM both ways) and since I don't carry cash, no choice but to do laundry in-room - Gym air conditioning did not work. The treadmills had broken screens, and the belts were not the best - Tennis Court at level 5... is not for residents. Security told me the whole floor is inaccessible anyway.

Great place to escape from a busy city.

Hygiene, a nice and peaceful place.
