Fabulous property in superb location. Great communication from host and very helpful with information.

The only issue we had was the stairs which we were aware of when we booked.

The property was in an excellent, very central location with cafes and bars within a few metres. The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. The host, Melissa, was very responsive to all our queries, offering information on eateries, travel etc and couldn't have been more helpful. Everything was done to make our stay very pleasant.

There is no bannister on the stairs. It would not be safe for children under 10 or any one with any level of mobility or balance issues. Also, if outside space is important there is no terrace/garden to access contrary to the description.

The location was perfect. A 15 minute walk from Como train station and 10 minute walk to the ferry. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, but you are perfectly secluded in the apartment which is a great respite from the busy streets. The bed was superbly comfy, and there were nice little touches such as fresh fruit and Prosecco on arrival. It was my birthday during the stay and they left a cake, so really went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay!

The position of this apartment could not have been better, it was right in the heart of the old town meters from the main beautiful church, the square with restaurants and bars and surrounded by shops. The main port/lake was a 5 minute walk away as was the supermarket. The host surprised by leaving a welcome package that included a bottle of Prosecco and a bowl of a delicious fresh strawberries. The apartment had a well equiped kitchen, modern bathroom and a really comfortable large bed. The furnishings and fittings were top quality.

The iron could be improved. It was new but like a travel iron and didn’t heat up well. But owner is going to test and possibly replace.

Great location, 5mins from Ferry Port & 10mins from the train station. Melissa was great, very helpful!

This was a self-catered apartment so no breakfast. But, easy to shop and bring in everything you might need or want.

Parking car can be a BIG problem as there are strict rules about autos in the center of Como. But this can be really be solved fairly easily by "smart packing" and by talking to Melissa who is a great manager.

Excellent location and apartment was very clean and well equipped. Melissa was very helpful. One note - anyone with mobility issues or small children may want to be cautious as far as the stairs to the loft, but they are shown in the pictures. Apartment was charming and perfect for our needs.

Nothing. Exactly as represented.

The attention to detail on arrival was refreshing. Soft peaceful music was playing, a bowl of fresh strawberries and bottle of bubbles on the kitchen table. What more could a girl want! It was so hot so the ice in the fridge and other lovely details made for a pleasant experience. This place really felt safe and homely. The view from the front door perfect. I was hesitant about staying in Como but this ended up being one of my travel highlights.

being very picky: there was a washing machine but no washing liquid (that I could find). Other than this minor thing, the place is faultless.
