Casa Gregis - Museums Area - 10 min walk to Upper town

Remarkable, fully-updated two-bedroom apartment in a historic building and area exceeded our every expectation. Self-check-in was a breeze and every detail was shared well in advance. We were immediately struck by the care, layout and cleanliness of Martina’s unit including the floors, furniture and general layout. Nothing was forgotten from full kitchen amenities, washer, comfortable sofa and chairs, full dining area, separate kitchen and two modern bathrooms. The layout is terrific and the old world charm is not lost despite the upgraded fixtures, windows, and ample closets. We were literally steps away from exploring Bergamo’s higher city ‘s acclaimed and historic sights including churches, museums, galleries, speciality shops, restaurants (with local culinary choices), and ancient pathways. Martina lives on premise and offered us plenty of insider tips including short drives to coveted lakes. Some of the best food from our Italy trip was in Bergamo from outside cafes to sit-down restaurants. Her apartment is also steps away from high-end shopping and carousing in the “lower city” making Bergamo - and Martina’s place - a gem of a destination. We were somewhat sorry to leave!

Perfect in every way. Travelers with cars should be mindful that they will park in designated free but limited street spots or public parking, which is very close and runs around €12 per day.

It was spotlessly clean and beautiful. Inside the apartment we found everything that we need for our stay. The owner was always available for all questions and support. The check-in method and provided information were easy and useful.

Great apartment on a great location, waling distance to the old (upper) town in Bergamo. Apartment was huge, lots of space with high ceilings, had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The owner Martina was really helpful and easy to communicate with, ready to help with anything we needed.

Wonderful house, very spacious, comfortable accompanied by a warm feeling, like it is your own home. Great location, near bus stop & Academia Carrara, though we decided to walk everywhere we went to in order to fully explore the city of Bergamo. Martina is an amazing hostess, very helpful, kind and welcoming and willing to help/ suggest locations for your trip. It was a pleasure to be her guests and we are very grateful for all the help she provided! We visited January 2024 and we loved the Christmas decoration & the little details of the house. We would love to stay here again, definitely recommended!!

This apartment is ideal for two couples to stay in a great location within walking distance of Citta Alta and Citta Bassa and also close to a number of bus routes to reduce the walking if preferred! Martina has thought of everything to make it a home from home. We really enjoyed our stay over the New Year weekend. Martina was a big help with recommendations for a New Year's Eve meal, even helping us to book and with tips and advice before we arrived and while we were there. We would definitely go back! The apartment is very spacious, clean and nice, it feels like home. Old building with a lot of charm. Location is good: transport, supermarket, a number of nice restaurant, gallery around the corner and 15 min walk to the Citta Alta. The train station is 10 min by bus and from there you can easily get to other nice places in the region.
