The design and the colours

A cosy little flat in a historical house looking out on a small quiet square on the Albaicin hill. The location was outstanding, just 5 minutes from the city's best viewpoint of the Alhambra and just a short climb or a quick bus ride away from the historical centre.

This is a historical house and so the rooms are not large. There was no major downside but the beds were very small and not so comfortable.

If you want to be close to everything but want somewhere to stay which is a little quieter, this is the place! The apartment was easy to get to by the bus from plaza nueva - c31 and c32. Great views. Clean, heating and air conditioning. Brilliant price for 3 days.

You can’t drive up to the property so need to take luggage on the bus or walk up to the apartment with it. Parking can be very expensive so look around.

Great location in the historic Albaicín area. The apartment is overlooking a small square but is very quiet . Close to plenty of small shops and a few food stores. Kitchen is small but functional as is the living room area. Perfect for a family of 3. If a 4th person is there, sofa bed is comfortable, but place is in my opinion too small to handle more than 3 comfortably. Very good value compared to other areas of Spain we visited. Word of warning: the apartment is st the top of a (somewhat) hill , so unless you are in good shape and are used to walking , the walk down and then back up can be somewhat daunting . We did end up walking the entire time , but there is a bus directly outside that passes often for €1.40 per person that takes you directly to the centre of town.

Everything was as described. However, be prepared to buy laundry detergent, salt, pepper etc. during your stay . They did supply some coffee pods, but not enough for the entire stay. We brought our own laundry pods from home, but I suggest bringing your own small restaurant type salt , pepper . Please note that the streets are NOT stroller friendly since that area is very hilly, so a bus would be the only solution.

Perfect place with super wiev

If you choose this location it is mandatory you take the C31 or C32 bus to get there. We didnt know the apartment was on top of a hill and we had to climb the all the stairs over a 1 km distance going up, with 20 kg luggage, and it was hard. So learn from us, if not from the host: take the bus!!!! :)

The fact that the host didnt tell us that getting to the apartment is necessary to climb up a high hill, from which you can see all the city, and its better to take the bus, especially if we have heavy luggage.
