- Excellent value for money — probably the best cost–benefit option for this route. - Food was much better than expected, consistently solid and enjoyable. - The cabin staff (YES) are outstanding and honestly deserve special mention. They put on a surprise performance that is genuinely fun and memorable (no spoilers)

- Car vs. Cruise / Crowds: Doing the Aswan–Luxor route by cruise has clear trade-offs. this is not specific to Alyssa, but to cruises in general. You will visit all the main sites at the busiest times. You avoid the daily hassle of finding hotels and restaurants, but in exchange you visit major attractions at peak crowd times. Overall, the cruise does make sense, but if your top priority is visiting temples without crowds, traveling independently (by car) on off-peak dates is definitely the better option. - Timing and delays: Alyssa is always late. Plan your trip with buffer days, especially your departure day. The boat runs late for everything. Schedules are unreliable, and you really cannot plan tightly around them. - Staff consistency: while some crew members are great, others are mediocre or unhelpful — unfortunately consistent with our broader experience in Egypt. - Currency exchange rates: the USD/EUR rates used onboard are abusive and seem to be based on absolutely nothing...

- retro meble (poza Spa) - bardzo dobre jedzenie i duży wybór przy każdym posiłku - górny pokład bez sztucznej trawy z wystarczająca ilością leżaków, siedzeń i leżanek - bardzo miła obsługa - bardzo dobry masaż i fajna sauna z widokiem 🙂

- pokaz tańca brzucha - beznadziejne naprawdę, nie wiedziałam gdzie patrzeć tak żenujący był brak umiejętnosci tancerki. Była też spóźniona (przez co derwisz już bardzo przynudzał) i pokaż mega pospieszony - rozrywka - recital trwał 10 minut zamiast zaplanowanych 30 minut. Inpreza taneczna tylko godzinę, z czego ludzie się super bawili i naprawdę powinien zostać przedłużona ale nie było dyskusji - duża nagrywania na statku - wydaje się, że wieczorne rozrywki były organizowane tylko po to żeby kamerzysta mógł je w całości nagrać (by pokazać jaki rejs jest super), a nie dla rozrywki ludzi. Przeszkadzał i świecił w oczy a jak kończył on, tak kończono i zabawę… - SPA naprawdę wymaga remontu!

Bateau confortable même s’il a vécu. Le bar, le restaurant et le pont supérieur sont très agréables. La cabine est spacieuse avec sa baie panoramique. Le personnel est exceptionnel et attachant. Les prestations étaient plus que conformes à nos attentes, avec une nourriture de bonne qualité. Le vrai plus est le service individualisé, on s’y sent tout simplement bien.

Wir waren ohne Reisegruppe unterwegs und haben unsere erste Nilfahrt von Luxor nach Assuan sehr genossen. Zu loben sind die stets freundlichen und äußerst zuvorkommenden Servicekräfte, allen voran Hassan, der uns diskret, aber stets hilfsbereit bedient hat. Zu Beginn wurde uns ein Tisch für die Mahlzeiten zugewiesen und diesen behält man während der Reise. Das fanden wir sehr angenehm. Das Essen war hervorragend, es gab eine große Auswahl und die Speisen wurden sehr schön präsentiert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Seafood Büffet am letzten Abend, aber auch die ägyptischen Gerichte sind hervorragend. Wir hatten eine komfortable Kabine auf dem Oberdeck (herzlichen Dank dafür an John) und genossen die Sonnenterrasse in vollen Zügen. Oft waren wir alleine oben, weil die anderen Gäste unterwegs waren. Da wir schon einige Tage eher in Luxor waren, hatten wir das Tal der Könige und den Tempel von Luxor bereits besichtigt. Das weitere Programm konnten wir problemlos, unabhängig von dem (offenbar mit Alyssa kooperierenden) Reiseunternehmen Planet Tours angebotenen Besichtigungsprogramm, durchführen. Hilfestellung gibt es dabei von John, dem Front Office Supervisor. Wir wollen gerne wieder zurückkehren und machen dann auch die Reise umgekehrt, von Assuan nach Luxor.

Das Schiff ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen, das war für uns aber kein Problem. Es strahlt eine gediegene Atmosphäre im Art Deko-Stil aus. Die Innendekoration wurde vor einiger Zeit im nubischen Stil farbenfroh erneuert. Der ungeheizte Pool ist im Dezember schon sehr erfrischend.

Very good cabin size. Friendly, attentive and hard working staff. Very good food and gluten free catered for.

Too many ships caused horrendous pollution. Disliked being alongside otter ships at night so you look directly into a cabin from another ship. Also, this means you can’t enjoy being on deck as there are so many fumes. There was a lingering musty smell throughout the ship. Gym was awful. Evening entertainment was very disappointing.

Everything
