Upon arrival, I contacted the phone number provided to query about the location as it wasn’t well signposted. I was given very brief info on the phone, very hard to understand and seemed very blunt and uninterested. Keys needed to be received from a pub and a tour was provided around the pod. When booking it was not stated that the pod was above a pub. During our tour around the pod, the pub worker mentioned that the hot tub cover could only be pulled halfway back due to it being broken. We paid for use of the full hot tub, not half. The pub worker removed the half lid and the water in the hot tub was full of floaters and dirt. The owner explained that the dirt was coming from the pipes, however, she seemed completely un phased by this and the polystyrene was from the lid. Hot tub was not well maintained and was genuinely disgusting. I would have appreciated a disclaimer prior to booking regarding only being able to use half of the hot tub, the location being above a pub, and I would’ve appreciated the bare minimum of a clean hot tub. We left the hot tub 1 hour after arrival as we couldn’t use the hot tub because it was extremely dirty, so the only other options was to leave it sit on the bed for the rest of the evening as there was no other seating area. The owners clearly take no pride in the pod and hot tub.

Really friendly hosts, came up to tell us all about the pod and the hot tub. Very comfortably room and hot tub. Great location, close to Malin head and Derry and other tourist areas. Lots of places to eat and drink in Carndonagh

The hot tub was fabulous, so clean and so warm!! Lovely. The bed and tv were great. Bed was very squeaky when moving so not ideal if you move in your sleep but it was fine. The radiator was great as it heated the property very quickly.

Unfortunately the noise levels are extreme but that can't be avoided and is not the fault of the hosts! It's above a bar so that was to be expected but unfortunately there were some fights last night with people shouting into all hours of the morning. (Again, not the hosts fault). Some shampoo in the bathroom would be ideal - other than that, cannot fault it! Lovely spot :)
