"Superb"

The location was excellent, within about 5 minutes of the airport. This meant we could arrive at 12:30AM after midnight, get our car, and be in bed in around an hour. The place was very, very newly renovated as of Feb 2024, and is in mint condition. It's a quiet, safe-feeling residential area with another tourist rental next door. We're very happy we found this place!

The landlord didn't get the lockbox code and info to us until almost too late- he first sent only one of five photos, by accident I think. Tried contacting through the booking.com chat, with no success. Eventually texted him directly, with a several hour delay till he sent the info. I don't usually care about that too much, but it ended up where I was texting with the guy trying not to look nervous to my family, within 1 hour of our flight to San Juan. For payment he asked me to send person-to-person on PayPal to save a $20 fee, then sent me a link, which I clicked on. Then he complained I had done it wrong. But, since we were boarding the plane as that all happened, there wasn't time to fix it. I did my best. Most likely this will be ironed out for future travelers- I write this to give him the message to fix up that part of the process- then the whole thing will be truly perfect! Despite these complaints it was a truly excellent place to stay!
