Edge of Exmoor Garden Flat, dog friendly, sleeps 2 - 4

The king size bed was comfortable

The cleaning was not up to scratch in a number of areas . Dusty . The sofas were old and well worn . The light pull in the bathroom was very very dirty on the last 12 inches of it . The kitchen cupboard smelt of fish . And the censor lights in the hallways were so very VERY annoying , I can’t shut the bedroom room as I feel to closed in . If my hand went over the side of the bed the light came on .The microwave was rusty . The plug hole in the bathroom sink was disgusting . Very disappointed .

Lovely size.. comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, nice touch with the tea, coffee etc (I didn’t use any but nice to have if required) good outside space, great to have fire stick for Netflix etc all set up.

Bit tired & jaded..Didn’t feel very clean. On surface was clean but I was with a 4&6 year old who upon working out the recliner which were loads of crumbs underneath & at side of sofa cushions where their toys slipped down was not very nice. Lots of spindly spiders/cobwebs which kids were scared of & dropped toy behind head board which when I tried to get out was full of old black dust. I’m not saying I dust behind my bed every week but when renting out I think a proper deep clean every now n then is a must. Patio doors smeary & not clean in fact I thought there was smoke outside until realised it was the glass itself. I feel a bit of attention to detail would’ve given it a 10.

The garden was perfect for dogs to roam without the worry of them escaping

Kitchen was a bit small

Lovely and peaceful with good facilities and great for the dog to have an outdoor space .

Just the erratic smoke alarm

Location was fantastic for walking dogs. Accommodation was much bigger than expected and great value.

Larger accommodation than expected. Very warm and cosy. A lovely hamper from the host on arrival. We had a lovely relaxing Christmas and enjoyed a full Christmas lunch as everything we needed to cook with was there. The host was right at the end of the phone if we needed them.
