The location of the apartment, the beautiful views.

The cleanliness was really disappointing & the TV was not working.

I loved the location of the unit and the beautiful sea views. The unit was extremely clean and well furnished. The daily cleaning service was great. The host was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

The unit didn't have DSTV.

A security entrance code was not set up for us…. security wouldn’t allow us into the estate, we waited almost an hour at the gate. The securities at the estate gate are extremely very rude.

The host (Lele) was extremely prompt and professional and upgraded us to a different room when the room we booked had an issue. The beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked, there was a spacious outdoor area and the air-conditioning kept us nice and cool.

It’s not so much the room that was a problem… it’s the overcrowded “resort” feel of this hotel & suites. The pool was packed full of people… (the hotel) was so busy and noisy - there was a queue of people to use the elevators to reach the pool, etc. Although our host had placed us in a quieter room at the far end… the whole place was way too crowded and noisy for our family (we value privacy and peace). Next time, I would probably book a quiet, private holiday home elsewhere. However - for extroverts who love parties and crowds - these sorts of resorts offer reasonable value-for-money. (I also hadn’t realized that you can’t swim in the sea at Zimbali. If you want to swim in the sea, you need to drive to Ballito or Salt Rock and those beaches are all VERY busy on weekends… especially in Summer- so it’s hard to find parking, etc).

The host response time was very swift.Zimbali is always exceptional,love the place.

I loved the peace and quiet and the views. I love the interior of the unit and the way it made me.feel at home. I will definitely be back to this unit.

Just a suggestion. Please add a heater for the cold winter days ;)
