Lake Lure Oasis in the Woods w/ Hot Tub & More!

The house was fully equipped with everything we needed.

That the Fifth bedroom was not what we expected it was an open room and having to hall the trash away

The back deck! It was a great gathering place for the family.

Even though there was a power outage and the dishwasher was broken we had an excellent time!

Great space! Rumbling Bald was also awesome for our family - tons to do!

House was comfortable, cool and clean. Location was quiet and great for exercise walking.

Kitchen footprint is rather small (narrow) that does not allow pass by when either dishwasher or refrigerator are open. Room for only one cook.

The house was clean and included a lot of amenities that made our stay more comfortable (hand soap in all bathrooms, kitchen gadgets and essentials, great assortment of cookware, blankets in the living room were a nice touch!) We loved the hot tub and outdoor space. The smart tvs were great so we could log into our streaming services. WiFi was fast (which was helpful because our cell service was super spotty)! Chris was a great host and always super responsive in making sure we had everything we needed.

The basement was freezing while the upper floors were comfortable or even hot at times. The listing said 5 bedrooms but it was really only 3 bedrooms plus a loft and the basement. The loft wasn't safe to let our two young kids sleep on and we didn't want them in the basement alone so they ended up sleeping on the floor of our room. We made it work but would have preferred them in their own room with a door. The showers could also use some additional lighting over them as it was very dark with the shower curtain pulled or the doors closed.

The house was beautiful!! Chris reached out first thing and he answered all my questions as soon as I messaged him! The house was kid friendly and so spacious!! We loved it and we will definitely be booking with Chris again!!
