Ease of getting the living room warm whilst we stopped for an hour to get warm

By 3pm (check in time) we were yet to receive the Code for the Key. The Front door was difficult to unlock and lock! Once inside the property there was a slight funny smell. No way was my partner sleeping on the sofa bed it was tiny! The handles on the kitchen cupboards were greasy to touch and the stairs carpet was more black than grey! The bedrooms didn't have side tables for the lamps. We stayed an hour to get warm then made sure we took everything we had brought as we were definitely not going to stay the night! The towels left on the beds were all stained - we daren't pull the bed covers back!

Nothing, it was dirty, cold & uncomfortable

The floors were grimey and our shoes stuck to them. The sofa bed was barely plausible and only one bed was adequate. A smell of damp throughout.

the house was usable we all could relax and have space we all needed.

I had to call the care taker out for a couple of minor issues but he came and sorted them out pretty quickly.

It was awful really in uncomfortable bedding dirty towels in the bathtub on arrival. Stank of paint in there. Worst experience ever

I booked this property expecting a decent stay, but I could barely make it through one night. The house was filthy and clearly hasn’t been cleaned properly in ages. The oven was absolutely disgusting, caked with grease and grime as if it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The floors were sticky and unpleasant to walk on. The carpet on the stairs was so dirty you could actually see a walking path worn into the middle—it was revolting. The mattress was so old and uncomfortable that you could feel every single spring—sleeping on it was a nightmare. The bathroom was no better, with mold all over the bath and toilet, making it feel completely unhygienic. To top it off, the entire place was outdated and poorly maintained. I honestly cannot believe anyone would have the audacity to charge £80 per night for a place that looks and feels like this. It’s an insult to paying guests. This was hands-down one of the worst accommodations I’ve ever experienced. Avoid this place unless you enjoy staying in filth and discomfort!
