The Goulding Cottage and farm - 4 beds, 3 baths

This property was very loved at one time and it shows a great history. There are cute decorations.

The house did not have central heat and it was freezing cold. The floor was freezing, the toilets were freezing, everything. They had space heaters only (sitting on the carpet floor) and a note that if we turned them on high, it would blow the fuse. It was NOT safe at all. All electrical was pieced together with cheap extension cords. One of them even showed that burning happened at some point at the outlet. They left a ton of bedding and towels in the dryer. They asked for guests to collect the garbage and find a dumpster in town to throw it out. We had no idea where to find dumpsters in the very small town nor if it was even legal to throw personal garbage in them. There was no kitchen cleaning materials and the house could have been cleaned better. The house is very outdated and certainly not running according to code (not in any village I’ve ever lived in anyway). If you needed a place to stay for a large group in the area during warmer months, maybe this would work well. I would certainly advise against it in the winter!

Very kid friendly. Authentic farmhouse experience. Loved the animals. Very nice selection of reading material, especially the history of the town and the family. Great location for visiting Bryce National Park. Host did a great job preparing us for our stay.

Love the old country vibe and how clean the bathrooms were, the location was super easy to find, the property is amazing

The only thing I didn’t like is how dirty the living room area is and we found bugs in the house, that’s a super easy thing to fix

old house that was well kept and took me back in time. live animals , goats, rams, etc fruit trees. really cool place with lots of history.

Google maps and Apple Maps couldn’t find the place. pay close attention to directions. Although, the person who ultimately helped me find the place was super kind and welcoming.

The owner had a personal welcome message on the fridge which was a nice touch, it is big, and good value for a big group, a lot of rooms and beds.

the facility is old, we stayed both nights, both nights we had problem with the electricity, one of the rooms including washroom was without power for one night, the same room was without electricity plug for the other night. Also it was all carpet, two of my friends have asthma, it was a big hard for them, it would be helpful if it is indicated in the description.

Beautiful house, many rooms and seating in the garden. Key outside in the key box. Friendly message from the owner. Very friendly and helpful neighbor. Our kids loved the attic and the trampoline. There are some apricot trees with very tasty apricots!

Actually, a lot was available, just already very worn. Worn out garden chairs, broken wooden benches, trampoline without net. Our bed creaked loudly with almost every movement, the bathroom door was not noiseless to open/close (at night you wake up everyone else).

What a darling little cottage! Kitchen had everything we needed and then some, and the backyard was so fun for the kids.

There were a few little oddities that just come with an old house — drawers that fell out when you opened them, a shower faucet that was very hard to turn on.
