It's a very nice place, ultra centric and close to important places. Ideal to walk or use the metro. The communication was very good with the host. For me the only bad thing was that the bed is actually two single mattress together. For the rest, nothing bad to say. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom is clean and comfortable, the house apartments count with good light, ventilation, bedsheets and blankets. The Tv has good open channels

Roadworks until late, but this is part of a big city, but it is temporary.

First off, really good location. About 10 minute walk from Atocha train/bus station, and very close to several bus and metro stops. Getting everywhere around Madrid and to the surrounding cities was a breeze. What's crazy is that even though it's in a fairly central, busy location, it was DEAD SILENT at night in the room as it is deep into the building a bit and faces an inner courtyard. During the day the doors are a bit thin and I could pretty clearly hear people conversing and doing laundry outside the room, but also I was usually out during the day anyway. Kitchen has two burners with a good set of utensils, a more than sufficient fridge and a really big sink too - very much enjoyed cooking in it. Host was very communicative and quick to respond. I'm sure if I needed anything at all during my stay he would have been easy to reach. The room is very spacious with a big couch. Blanket is two separate blankets and the bed can be split into two twins if you and your partner are back to sleeping in separate bedrooms 😬

The only negative I could say is the towels smelled a bit funky and were kinda awkward in size - no hand towel that I could find, only a washcloth. Not a big issue, just gave me a pause. Overall these are tiny gripes however and the place overall was a great value.
