Mountain Cabin 2B Jacuzzi #10

It was close to down town Helena but far anofe away to be by ourselves. Really nice place and perfect for couples or a couple with one or 2 kids. The water is hot hot so be careful. But the kitchen was perfect for doing a few meals and The jacuzzi was nice privet and clean. I like the fact that you can fill it up yourself. Will definitely be going back again for another trip soon

The only bad parts about it was that the parking is a little tricky when all cabins are booked and there are cats everywhere every room has its own crazy cat picture kinda tripped us up a little but gave some good laughs.

The cabin was great for our getaway. It's proximity to town was perfect. It's a small and cozy cabin.

Heat. Baseboard heater was not very warm. Homeowner had two heaters sent over, we put them on and the fuse or something blew out in the living room, she showed up to check all the things we did. Sadly, she was not friendly at all to us. More annoyed. Fuse or whatever was fixed. But when I put the heat on in the loft, I went to bed it was 66 degrees, when I woke up it was 60 degrees, I froze. I slept with a hat on, gloves, socks and jacket just to try and be a little warm.

Location is stunning and the cabin is a wonderful little retreat away from the world. I loved being surrounded by trees a sitting on the rocking chair. Jacuzzi was great though temp controls were not clear. I had a great time.

While the cabin was clean from a day to day perspective there was decent build up of dust in some areas that should be taken care of during a deep clean every so often (ex. Wall slats next to loft bed and vents in AC units/dehumidifier). The fireplace was not working and the glass cover was not secured to the unit. There was ai art in the loft room- which I dislike to see or support. But these are nitpicks overall I loved the stay.

The cabin was very clean.

The beds were not comfortable and the heat wasn’t adequate. I never could get the downstairs bedroom warm. The whole cabin was cold. The gas heater didn’t work. The couch needs to be replaced. The driveway up to the cabin is very steep. We booked 3 nights but only stayed 1.

We liked the fact that it was further from town so it was rather quiet. It was cozy. The house was well insulated so we didn't even have to run the heater near as much. The beds were nice enough that we were able to sleep comfortably.

The thing we didn't like was the fact that it advertised nowhere that it did not have regular cups, silverware, or plates. We would have willingly brought some with us if we had known there wasn't any. It needed a little updating as far as the bathroom went. You had to pull really hard to get the handle to even turn the water on and the light kept flickering making us a bit weary about the electrical. They left us only one towel and one rag each for our two nights stay causing us to have to reuse them. The AC unit needed updating and sounded like it was going to break down the wall when it turned on.
