I had to rebook my flight because the place was absolutely disgusting and I couldn’t get any sleep to do what we intended to do on our last day. Right from the start the owner was very slow to provide instructions on how to access the unit. I should have taken that as a sign but the booking was non-refundable. The place smelled of piss when we got here, the freezer has this I don’t know what, and one of the beds was filthy. The owner said they didn’t prepare the second bed (pull-out) because the booking was only good for 2 persons. First of all, the description on the site didn’t say that. It’s one of the main reasons I booked the place because we needed 2 beds. Second, the “clean” bed is only a twin size. A twin size bed is designed for one person only or 2 children. How was I to comfortably fit there with another 5’10 adult? We were too tired to look for another place as we had just arrived from a day of activities in Bukidnon. I bought bleach for the bathroom to make the smell tolerable and had to try sleep on the bench. Not even a sofa, a bench. I’ve already requested a refund but don’t know if I will ever get it. Owner is unresponsive.
