HOUSE Cavour 24 In the heart of Downtown Parma

Very nice location in the heart of an all action. We only stayed three days and Fransesca’s tips were really much appreciated. She was very nice and helpful landlord! The apartment was spacious and nice. Parking garage wasn’t far either, which was very handy. Also that we had two pairs of keys! And elevator was nice to have aswell, because of the steep stairs.

I think I would rate this property 15 out of 10 - it was so comfortable and delightful. And Parma with the beautiful town and the opera - what more could you want!

Excellent emplacement . Très central, reste calme malgré tout. Vue sur la cathédrale de Parme depuis les toits. Appartement bien aménagé , au 3ème étage mais avec ascenseur si nécessaire .

jewel box on top of the city. centrally located, spacious, tidy, comfortable and clean. fully equipped extra preparation in the boiler, which is a special plus point. really kind hosts, they were at our disposal in everything, they took care of us in everything!

Excellent apartment all round. Host Francesca very helpful and always ready and prompt to answer any questions/requests. Location could not be better with all the attractions/restaurants few minutes away. Train station 10 minute walk away. Facilities and cleanliness at the apartment were excellent. We stayed for a week and found the use of the washing machine very helpful. Parma is ideally suited for train trips to Modena, Cremona, Bologna and even Ravenna. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money.

I Suggest the installion of a blind in the bathroom.

My friend and I are both well-seasoned travelers and Air BnB hosts at home. We booked Cavour 24 because of the positive reviews, cute decor and view. Because we work while traveling (so wifi is important to us) and because you had an elevator (my friend had back surgery 1.5 years ago and is not supposed to carry heavy items like luggage) and parking that was said to be nearby. The host messaged us via the Booking platform and Whatsapp, so I was having to remember which info was located where. Then she said she was sick and her colleague would meet us. When he started showing us where the parking was we said we had a lot of stuff and checked with him that it was nearby and there was an elevator out of the garage. He said there was, but failed to mention the flight of stairs afterwards. And then walked a block ahead of us with the lightest bags we had with us. Not stopping until I told him to wait. So we ended up carrying the heaviest items up steps - which as I noted - was not something my friend was supposed to do. It didn’t feel good or welcoming. The apartment is cute and clean and in a central location. There is an elevator (it’s very temperamental) and there still were about 6 stairs to carry items up after arrival. It’s also notable that the central location of the apartment means it can be quite loud during the day with music blasting. but when arrived the wifi wasn’t working and it didn’t work for the duration of our stay. Out host called the company the morning after we arrived and they said they would have to do a service call (but wouldn’t do it over the weekend) on a €263 booking for 2 nights in the apartment we were offered €20 for having no wifi. And then when it was transferred back via Paypal, I was charged a fee for the transfer. While buying a gig of internet may only cost €10, when traveling internationally.

Owner swapped us to another location, Suite Corregio, as wifi wasn't working here. Location was great, easy walk to Duomo, Farnese Theater and more. Parking was actually closer to us at new location. Apartment is freshly renovated, worked well for us. Host was very helpful, quick to respond.

Shower entrance is a bit narrow, worked ok for us but something to be aware of. Otherwise apartment is very nice.
