Hotel POYI KALON terrace حلال

Abrahim (sp?) was a great host. He was very attentive, spoke great English, and displayed the type of hospitality that we grew to love about our stay in Uzbekistan. The location was ideal and the breakfast was a delicious experience as well. Our room felt like royalty!

My wife and I enjoyed our whole stay at POYI KALAN. A family owned and operated Hotel with the best location, friendly staff, clean property. Everything was just perfect from an early check in and a 4am check out.

Баарынан дагы биз жакшы эс алып турдук! Эртең мененки тамагы даамду экен. Бул жерде түнөп калсаңар өкүнбөйсүңөр. We stayed over night there. We had a great night sleep, the aura of the hotel is warm and welcoming. All the amenities were great and enjoyed our morning coffee with the beautiful view of the Bukhara square! Want to thank the young gentleman who helped us with the taxi, because of the festival the roads were closed and he lead us to the nearest point where taxis could pick us up.

Great hotel, very clean and close to the main sites. The matress was comfortable, we had everything we needed. Reception service was spot on too. The terrace was unfortunately closed when we were there (early March) as the rain was forecasted, but I imagine in the right season, it would be great to enjoy the views of Kalon Minaret with a cup of tea up on their terrace.

Hotel is in a quite neighbourhood across to the Kalon Minaret, making the location perfect! I had a comfortable stay. Room was as described.   Breakfast was a bit different, I was served on the table by their lovely staff. Shakah would offer a hot drink after a long day out and recommended me places to eat and visit, which I found nice. They also arranged taxi on my last day to the train station and made sure I would not be over charged. I found the customer service was very good. Shakah and Amir - you both made my trip very memorable.  Thank you : D

There was no iron in the room. This was common in all the hotels I lived at across Uzbek. They were kind enough to let me use the staff iron.
