Comfortable clean well equipped

Location was excellent and most attractions were in easy walking distance.

Drain issue caused unpleasant smells in the foyer, parking gate was out of action for 24 hours so parking area was not secure.

Location, 2 bathrooms, easy communication

The bed could have been a bit bigger, and personally I’d prefer to have 2 separate blankets instead of one big, but probably that is just me.

The accommodation was first class, absolutely beautiful and in an excellent spot, just around the corner from everything.

Both mattresses need renewing as you can feel the springs in your back.

Location was great, parking on site.

Check in not till 4pm, was promised a call if earlier check in was available but it never came despite us arriving at 3 and the room being ready. Bathroom and Dining area very dusty in places, dirty pillows on the bed with brown marks on one. The heater didn't work in one of the bedrooms so one guest was cold all night, Gate Fob didn't work, reception staff said everyone's are the same and suggested i call an engineer (not my problem), issues with access to the building, but there were obviously maintenance issues as there were locksmiths and the fire brigade on site. Welcome pack was more like a list of warnings and threats. Parking bay was extremely tight and opposite posts, anything bigger than our corsa would struggle, Foul smell in the corridors. External window sills are hollow thin metal so when it rains it is really loud. TV does not pick up live TV. We have stayed in many apartments throughout the world and this was OK, but nothing above average, We stayed at Lucy's Lodge last time, which was £200 cheaper for 2 nights and much better, not sure if its managed by the same people or not.

The location was excellent, 10 minutes walk to the pedestrianised city centre. Bedrooms comfy, showers excellent. Very clean and functionable.

The alarm went off a couple of times - for no apparent reason. I had to call the emergency number - if it had happened in the middle of the night it would have been a shock, it is ear splitting. One lift was out of action all the time we were there - on our last day the other one failed as well! We had a 90 year old with us and we were on the 2nd floor - fortunately the service lift was available BUT that could have been a real problem. I remember someone writing a review last year saying they had broken down then as well - they need sorting out!! The TV is a LG smart TV, way too smart for me, there needs to be better instructions for that.
