Der var ikke noget vi kunne lide, vi fik ganske enkelt ikke det, der var beskrevet om stedet og som vi havde betalt for. Vi valgte IKKE at bo i villaen, men fandt en perfekt lejlighed nede i byen. Beliggenheden var ikke god, alt for stejlt til gangbesværede, ingen oplysning om, at det var en brobelagt meget smal vej op til villaen, hvor man ikke kunne køre helt op. At der er gratis parkering, passer i hvert fald ikke, hverken den taxa vi ankom i eller den, der hentede os, kunne køre op til porten ind til ejendommen. At der er 200 m til stranden, det må være i lige linje og ikke ad vejen, det var rimelig lang vej til stranden. Selve villaen var møgbeskidt, køkkenet var nusset, støv på alle hylder, møblerne i fællesrumet var fyldt med pletter, bordene var ikke vasket, og der var rigtig mange firben inde i villaen. I et af værelserne på stueetagen var ingen gardiner. Det der på billederne ser ud som en swimmingpool, var nærmest på størrelse med et spa/badekar. Vi forsøgte at få pengene refunderet, men uden at det lykkedes. Værten mente, at der var super rent, og at alt var som det skulle være, og ville ikke refundere pengene. Desværre er vores anbefaling, at du skal se dig om efter en anden Villa/lejlighed ☹️

Spaceous house with nice large garden uphill from the beach and Centre of Levanto. Well equipped kitchen and large living room. We enjoyed our stay!

Be prepared for step walking and not so easy access for cars (however possible for larger cars/taxi)

Lack of AC -should be clearly stated. There are fans in the house, but not all of them work, some are broken. There is also a mobile AC unit, but it is useless. Lack of mosquitos nets. Only 2 bedrooms have their own bathrooms, the other 3 bedrooms are sharing 2 bathrooms, out of which only 1 has a shower. The 2 bathrooms to be shared are both on the 1st floor, there is no bathroom on the ground floor. One of the bedroom, located at the ground floor, is very small one, proper for only 1 person The fifth bedroom is actually located in a cottage near the villa. The wooden frames on the windows and the wooden shutters need major maintenance Bathrooms also need improvements and maintenance, they are old and have few functional issues The pool is a tiny one, proper for kids, definitely you can't swim there, but only chill out.

The villa was lovely, clean and well equipped. Would benefit from air conditioning

I didn't like the location , and it should be made very clear it is not suitable for. elderly, people with mobility problems or pushchairs.

Villa Mesco has the most amazing views. It is comfortable and spacious with a lovely, albeit small, pool. The outdoor areas were popular with our group of seven friends and despite the warm weather, it was always possible to catch a cooling breeze. The kitchen was compact but sufficiently equipped. Paolo was helpful and responsive. Despite the negative comments below, we had a wonderful time at Villa Mesco and would happily return.

The villa is in need of a bit of TLC. It doesn’t have four bathrooms as indicated, one is a toilet with basin. The separate bedroom with ensuite wasn’t thoroughly prepared for our stay, we aired and cleaned it on arrival. This wasn’t worth contacting anyone about but when a villa with five bedrooms is booked, you expect all rooms to be ready on check in. When we were met at the villa we asked if there was anything we needed to do for the pool and were told no. It wasn’t until four days into our stay that we met the pool maintenance person and we discovered the pool filter and pump hadn’t been turned on until then.

Breathtaking location and views. Paolo was wonderful and very helpful!

Kitchen pots and pans were not clean. Some of the rooms in the Home smelled musty

The view from the Villa was amazing. Everything was clean and working well.
