1 Y Bae - Top Floor Apartment

This was our second stay in this apartment and we will hopefully be back to stay again soon. Location is great within easy walking distance to everything on the Bay…. the beach, a good selection of nice restaurants, the chippy and local shop are all close by. The Apartment is very comfortable and nicely furnished … a real home from home. Cosy lounge with a good TV. Nice well equipped kitchen. Each bedroom has a lovely en-suite. Balcony is a bonus outdoor space. The apartment has its own parking spaces and a lift making it so convenient and accessible (I was staying with my elderly mum).

The apartment was large and clean, the lounge/kitchen area was comfortable and had a decent view. Nice balcony for when the weather is nice. Location is good in the centre of the village and 2 minutes walk to the beach.

The lift was not working and we had to carry our elderly dog up three flights of stairs several times a day, would have been nice to be informed about this as we wouldn't have booked it. The double bed mattress was too firm for me although that is a personal preference, single bed mattresses are old and springy so not comfortable in them either. Lounge area needs lamps, it was like the runway at Heathrow with all the ceiling lights on. I put a lamp from the bedroom in there to give it some ambience. If this was your own home it could be lovely but as it stands now it lacks character.

Location was good, easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Despite the weather the flat was warm in all areas.

Great location close to everything. Really modern and spacious apartment with everything you would need. Would definitely stay again. We did leave an item behind also and the property company was really helpful in terms of sending this back quickly which I was grateful for.

Nothing to not like about anything. When staying it was very windy which was quite loud one of the nights but that was due to being right in the bay so nothing to do with apartment.

Location and parking excellent. Accessibility with lift. Size of apartment good. Great Showers and access to 3 toilets is great when there are 4 of you in the apartment. Walk in showers are good and powerful in both rooms.

Welcome pack would have been nice (mik/bread)?. There is need for a lamp in the lounge area as no other lighting in the main room so we used the cooker hood light. Spare twin bedroom needs to be reorganised - the large wardrobes and dressing table are not useful in the room shape and would be better if removed and the twin beds under the window - the current layout is not user friendly and the mirror is no use, as you sit on the dressing table stool and can just see the top of your head! Just a few tweaks would be good but otherwise a very nice place to stay.
