La casina del Pennolo, Casa Stani 60 mq.

Fantastic spot in a small village with a lovely local bar and restaurant. Easy to get to and from Almalfi by bus. The stairs up to the place are a good workout too. Make sure you pack light.

The view and the location: Conca dei Marini is nice cozy place. Convenient to have Stani to pick us up and take us back to the airport and train station in Naples at a reasonable price, even if he was a motor mouth, maybe cause he could talk italian to me. He even took us to Pompei and gave us some good advice about restaurants.

There is a pellet stove that did not work from the start. The technician took 2 days to come and unfortunately it was very cold this Easter time so we had 14 degrees downstairs and we had all to camp on the top floor where there is a heat pump, for two nights. Clothes did not dry from the rain and it was uncomfortable. Not much the owner could have done, but also refused to give a refund that we asked for, given we have been cold 2 out of 4 days we have been there…

The location was close to amalfi and had a nice view on the top of the rooftop.

I was not expecting so many steps. But it was definitely some good exercise.

Lovely, clean, character property.

It could be improved with a proper wardrobe (there is no wardrobe, only a little place next to washing liquids in the laundry room spared for clothes which was not ideal)

It’s a cute Italian house with view of the Amalfi coast. It makes you feel like you are living in your own house with facilities available. Elena and Stani were the perfect hosts. When I told them the terrace was a bit dirty, they came and cleaned it the next day.

The only thing is the stairs to the house, which is common to the Amalfi coast but was difficult to us with luggage. There is a bus stop right below on the road which connects well to Amalfi coast and so on.

It is a cute and cozy apartment where you feel like a home. The view from the terrace is amazing! Also it only takes you 10 minutes to amalfi. The host is super friendly and always helps you when you need something.

Nothing, everything was great!

The house was adorable, decorated in a really tasteful & cute cottage style and equipped with almost everything that I could imagine being needed (there's no TV or microwave but I didn't need either one here - why watch TV when you have views of the sea and hills in ever direction?!).. The bathroom has new fittings and great water pressure; the kitchen is compact but has plenty of pans, cups, cutlery etc. The views are incredible from every window but especially from the roof terrace, and the location is excellent for walking or catching public transport. It's cozy but still has plenty of space. Maps & local info left in the lounge area were a nice touch and really helpful. The house is secure but feels light, bright and airy. But the main highlight is the owner, Elena, who is exceptionally kind, patient, flexible and committed to making the stay as good as it can possibly be (I was seriously delayed due to a road closure and she was truly wonderful about it). She is the nicest & most generous person, a great communicator, and made everything perfect.

I couldn't get the hotplate to work but I think that was just user error on my part 😅 (and there was a back-up plug-in one so I never missed my coffee!). If you're planning to self-cater & have particular tastes, it's a good idea to bring things with you as there are few shops in Conca dei Marini and they don't have much of a range (and cost a little more than the bigger towns, as you'd expect). The whole Amalfi Coast is an expensive place to stay and the price of this Casita is in keeping with the area but I do think it represents very good value for money when compared with all other places nearby. If you want to stay in this cute little town, you won't find a nicer place.

Beautiful charming apartment with everything you need. The property was immaculate with Spectacular views. We highly recommend this place for a stay on the Amalfi coast. Just perfect in every way. Stani and Elena were the perfect hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful. The have an excellent knowledge of the local area and their communication was excellent.

The house is exactly like in the pictures. It's cosy and clean. We had a great time there.

Take it seriously when they advise you to take light luggage only, it's difficult access through stairs.

The location of the house is perfect. It is near to the bus stop, the beach in Conca di Marini is also not far away. The rooms are well equipped. The house is really authentical, it is full with cermaics which are made by host, really nice. The view to the see is beautiful. Stani and Elena are really friendly and helpful, the shopping with Stani together was really fun, he knows the good places and products. :) We cooked really often and helped us to select the good and fresh veggies, pasta and wines :)

Sometimes the water pressure and the temperature in the shower was not good. (Probably old technik, pipes or location of the house)
