Just marvelous place for a stay, just a short walk down to the old city of Urbino. The house itself is a really Fantastic old house with modern service and very kindly owner.

"A unique opportunity to experience the Reneissance. Litteraly living in it"

9.0

The location is beautiful, the view of Urbino is magnificent, and it defines the experience. Probably the best views we've ever enjoyed from a country house. Logistically, it's perfect for both walking to Urbino or exploring the Marche and Umbria areas, which are surprisingly interesting from both a natural and cultural perspective.

Nothing relevant. Of course, in any historical residence, some facilities are less convenient than in a modern-built house, f.i. the shower size. It would be great if the structure had a larger pool, although the jacuzzi is very enjoyable

"The most beautiful and grand place I've ever stayed in."

9.0

This is the most beautiful location I have ever stayed in. The views from all sides make you feel good every time you open your eyes and the rooms you live in make you feel like royalty. Luca and his mother Laura are so friendly, kind and helpful, you couldn't ask for better hosts.

Bathrooms, while functional, could do with upgrading, and some garden loungers would help enjoy the views in more comfort.

"Unique opportunity to stay in 16th century villa in walking distance to Urbino historic city"

8.0

Perfect location - walking distance from Urbino. The historic 1600 villa is amazing and has been taken very well care of. Really nice and friendly host. Very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, walks and more.

It wasn’t obvious in the description, but you rent the two top floors in a villa. The host and family are living downstairs. It wasn’t a problem at all - but would have been nice to know beforehand.
