Magnifique Appartement de 112 m2 près de la plage !

The apartment was relatively cheaper than others we looked at, so understand it may not be 4-5 star and don’t expect that. So the good things, big apartment, secure parking inside the complex, convenient easy walk to the beach and old town which is great. The host met us on site to hand over keys, giving arrival time was a little tricky but worked out in the end. Comments like “this is Morocco” to explain away issues shouldn’t be used in some cases…if you are wanting westerners to stay then some simple efforts should be made to make it more acceptable. Examples below.

So one bathroom didn’t appear to have been cleaned well with long hairs still in the shower area. The stove in the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned, it was and the surrounding bench top covered in oil splatter. These are easy to fix up and check after cleaning. However, lights hanging on electrical wires doesn’t seem finished. Electric wires hanging out of walls isn’t finished. I can handle poor grouting of tiles etc - “ it is Morocco “ but the must do one thing is to provide a top sheet on all bedding. It is doubtful the blankets are washed after each guest- must do! Pretty basic to provide toilet paper and handwashing. Some easy fix things, and relatively cheap would make this apartment very good, very easily.
