Happy Inn 2

Wayan's banana pancakes were the best that we had in Bali. He is a really helpful guy. Overall the stay was okay for the price. You can find cheaper hotels in Ubud.

The owner and her employee are very kind, helpful and flexible. They let us check in early, helped us book a boat ticket when we had left it very last minute, gave advice about taxi prices and were flexible with timings for breakfast. The property is really lovely and is in a compound with the owner’s home, so you can always speak to her. The pool is great and there’s a cosy atmosphere with lots of plants. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was made to order and really tasty.

The shower temperature was quite unreliable - at times we took cold showers and other times it was fine. There were other issues with the shower as well, but I think that will have been sorted by now (I didn’t raise it until check out, which is my own fault). The AC was not very powerful and we had to leave it on pretty much all the time, but we managed to reach a comfortable temperature in the end. Overall it was a great place and if I knew the shower was working I would definitely come back.

The location is good. The staff were friendly. Toiletries were refilled on request. The shampoo and bath gel smelled good. It’s cheap for the price.

No credit card payment but i think they are working out on it. There is no water heater.

Hidden place in busy ubud. Nice garden with pool. Owner very friendly and helpfull. We stayed just one night but its a nice place to stay when you are more days in ubud.

Had a great stay at Happy Inn 2. Hosts were brilliant and helped to organise mount batur sunrise trek and also a fast boat over to gili Trawangan. Was able to do laundry service for very reasonable price and was door to door service. Comfy bed, air con worked great and pool was nice for a dip after a busy day. Very peaceful location but only 2 minutes to plenty of restaurants and about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Ubud

Good central location but quiet at night. Very good wifi. Rooms nice and big with fridge and large bathroom. Comfy bed. Air con very good and additional fan. You can also WhatsApp with the owner who responded very quickly

The doors and windows weren’t fully sealed which meant insects came in during the night. Breakfast was ok (although portion on the smaller side) but only one table to sit at. Did not realise until the last day that the property doesn’t accept card - cash only. This meant we had to find an ATM to withdraw cash at short notice.
