Alki Beach Cottage, NEW, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, near beach, AC, WD, Parking

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, clean, accommodating place to stay. The owners were extraordinary. Peaceful and quiet yet close and walkable to many restaurants and places for coffee, ice cream and juices.

Not one thing not was truly perfect!

Location was nice, close to the beaches and plenty of restaurants.

Seating was a little uncomfortable for 4 people, minor inconvenience really.

Für uns war alles perfekt.

This was the most well appointed rental we have had, and we have had quite a few. As other's have commented, the kitchen supplies (utensils, spices, snacks, condiments, coffee- I could go on and on) were amazing. The only missing items would be food plastic wrap (which may have just been overlooked in the last restock, plenty of other food storage options), a metal colander for steaming, and a kitchen thermometer. But really, hats off to the host for supplies. The bathrooms were likewise very well appointed. The location is really special, a very quiet alleyway to access by car and just blocks from Alki Beach, a very vibrant Seattle scene reminiscent of a southern California beach scene. The host, Mardy, stopped by to say hello, we didn't talk for long as I was busy in the kitchen preparing a meal, but I bet he would have some good stories to tell.

A balcony and view would be nice but overall setting was very good indeed.

Beautiful cottage, very modern and clean. Incredibly well stocked with plenty of glasses, cups, plates, cutlery etc. And lots of snacks and water!!! Such a nice touch!

Everything was great. We loved the 2 bedrooms AND 2 bathrooms.

Very nice hosts who went above and beyond with their Alki Beach getaway that has everything and more than anyone needs. Great, big living space, with huge television, plenty of seating, beautiful kitchen stocked with excellent foods & snacks you wouldn’t expect in rental, 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds to choose from and different pillow sizes from thin to thicker, and 2 nice bathrooms with great shower heads. Place exceeded my expectations and in beautiful area where you can enjoy walking along Alki Beach with all of the other locals and travelers.

I tend to like later checkout, but check-in was available far earlier than any place I’ve seen, so nothing to complain about with the hosts being so generous with their time.
