Villa Tervas, Arctic circle

The property is very well kept, clean and enough of everything for a very comfortable stay. Exceeded our expectations.

Our stay had many great aspects. We really liked that the bathroom had two shower heads, and the sauna was spacious and lovely. The layout of the home was well thought out, with the dressing room separating the bedroom, which we appreciated. The open-plan living room and kitchen flowed nicely, making the space feel welcoming and comfortable.

However, there were a few things that could be improved. None of the mugs had handles, which might be something to consider. The bedroom had a cot and an extra single bed, which we hadn’t requested. This made the space feel cramped, as we had to squeeze past the cot to access one side of the bed. The mattress in the main bedroom was very thin, almost like a bed topper, and the pillows were quite flat, which caused us neck pain in the mornings—something that could be improved for better comfort. Additionally, we only received the WiFi details on the second day after requesting firewood, which made us feel like the hosts weren’t fully prepared for our stay. Addressing these points would make the experience even better for future guests.
