Central Rákóczi 474 Home I Free Parking

Be aware to book more than 2 nights if you want to visit Budapest. We had a pleasant stay at R474. Located in the old town, near the train station, we had great access to public transport. Apartment is nice, clean an cozy. The view from the balcony is amazing. Parking is a bit too far but it is a big bonus because it is a secured parking lot.

The noise from the road is a bit anoying but it can't be controlled by the host.

Instructions where clear about codes etc - Room was very clean and good facilities - Kitchen was well equipped - The location was good and easy access to public transport etc

The front door was hard to identify and had no markings / indication - Had to wonder around by a nice apple building and eventually saw the lock boxes and guessed it had to be the correct place - The rooms where very noisy with traffic on the road all night - lots of emergency vehicle sirens at all hours which woke you up. - The room got a lot of outside light even with the curtains closed which resulted in a very bright room at night ( i like a very dark room) - The sleeper couch was terribly uncomfortable!

Good location and a parking. the apartment was clean and comfortable and it was fully furnished, so it was a good value for money. Good communication with the owner.

A lot of noise due to the busy street.

The apartment is well equipped, spacious and modern. Good connection with the city center. The staff responds promptly to messages. Excellent apartment for a longer stay.

The street is a bit noisy. But not all the time.

Great location - close to metro and bus stops. Several supermarkets nearby. The apartment was even better than on the pictures. There was everything that could be needed in the kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker with 4 coffee cups). The host was very supportive and responsive to questions/requests.

The only thing that I should mention is the noise from the street - without earplugs I guess I wouldn't be able to fall asleep. But this is not something that the host of the apartment is responsible for.

It is very close to bus and metro station and it takes few minutes to go in centre of Budapest. The apartament has all necessary facilities for a city break.

The city noise(being with a view to a busy street the outside noise is very loud in the night and early în the morning)

The apartment itself is very nice, spacious, clean, has everything you need, comfortable bed. The instructions from the host were very clear and ample.

The building itself is very uninviting, it looks like it is abandoned, I actually walked by first time, also because the house number (one of the numbers) was missing on the door. The parking was too far away for comfort. If you travel by car and have luggage/small kids/pets/issues walking, this parking arrangement will not work for you. I have to say I was frustrated upon arrival because of this. It is a 15 minutes walk from the apartment, if you arrive late, the gate is closed. You do get good instructions how to open the gate to get in, but there is no instruction how to get back out. The location of the place isn't very pleasant, it is near the train station, lots of homeless people, gypsys, drunks. I didn't feel very safe walking there in the evening. It is a pity, because the apartment itself is really nice once you're inside. Also, if you cannot sleep with noise - bring ear plugs. Even with good windows you can still hear the cars on the road, as it is one of the main central streets with 24h traffic.
