Ear plugs are essential as the property is close to a very noisy bar. Shouts and music till 2am at the weekend.

Proximity to old town. Cleanliness. Facilities good.

Apartment not really spacious. Bathroom small, and a washing machine at bottom of toilet so had to sit sideways , rather awkward. The description says sound proofed but it isn’t! It is double glazed but so very, very noisy despite closed windows and blinds down! When you arrive it looks like a quiet street as in photo, but what looks like derelict/ closed premises come alive all night, all along the street. Outside bars start around 8pm and continue with the addition of nightclub/ music venue til around 5-5.30am! We have travelled the world and stayed centrally in cities, towns and have never heard so much noise. I have lived in the centre of London and was always quieter after midnight. We couldn’t have the windows open at night as we prefer and couldn’t sleep even with ear plugs in! When the bars and crowds stop around 5.30am, the street cleaners come and make more noise. Around 8.30-9 am it is peaceful again! We never imagined it could be so horrendous and we are so tired! We expected noise til 12-1am but this was too much. How anyone can sleep in the summer if they need windows open? I know it is not the fault of the host but it does impact hugely on the stay and quality of the property, sadly. When I messaged the host about the noise I was disappointed but her rather terse reply! I would never want to recommend sadly.

The apartment was in a brilliant position in Oviedo in the centre of the medieval city. The flat had been recently renovated so everything worked well. There were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The flat itself was spotless and the two double bedrooms had very comfortable beds. Check in was seamless and Polina was very helpful. Being able to park nearby was a real bonus.

It was perfect for us.

Nothing negative at all. It was a great apartment.

I paid for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night because of a delayed flight - not hotel's fault.
