Soré Stay 6

Nothing really. Except that the fridge was well stocked but as we arrived late and the place was smelly , we just opened the windows , unplugged the awful air freshner and went out to eat. We were gone very early next morning as we couldn't stick the place. It was totally overpriced.

When we arrived on the street, I sent a message to say I was there as I hadn't received a full address. After a time, a man came from a fast food outlet across the street , asked me my name, showed us the door and before he opened it , he gave directions as to which door and floor to go to. He opened the front door and then began to run up the street. I had to call him back to find out what to do with the key when checking out. Inside, the hall and stairwell were filthy. The door to our apartment was shabby . When I opened it, the place was smelling of stale with a plug-in air freshener to camouflage. The shower was in the bedroom with an unplugged fridge to hold the toiletries! The bed was up against the wall, and there was a cigarette burn on the sheet. There was also a cigarette butt outside on the window ledge. There was a pile of cleaning agents /mop/ brush etc in corner of kitchen and they were smelly. The door to the apartment needed to be locked on the inside with a turn key as the latch lock didn't have a clasp! We feel this place did not match the description, and therefore, under the sale of the goods and services act 1980, the apartment we paid to stay in last night does not match its description. I feel entitled to some form of reimbursement. I have used booking .com many times and have always been happy with my stays. This place should not be advertised and if it is, it should be at a much lower price to reflect the shabby place it is.

Food items were good

Went to shower at night. There was no water in sink shower or to flush toilet. Also heater in room did not work. The property manager offered no refunds. Very poor management. House is newly renovated but has many issues.
