Macaia Village Life Room with AC #2

This property is VERY centrally located in Vernazza. And yet, since it was up several levels, it was very quiet at night. The staff will give you complete and thorough directions on how to get there, and check-in takes place directly across the street - very handy! The hosts are very friendly and will work to make your stay in Vernazza great. The room is large and comfortable, with a window that opens up to the hustle and bustle of the main street below. (Again, noise is not an issue!) It was clean and ready for us to occupy it earlier than expected. They even provided a complimentary bottle of wine! Highly recommended.

Easily located, good, step by step directions from staff on how to find apt. AC worked well Close to train station. Room was just right for 2 adults. Room & bathroom were clean.

Right in the heart of Vernazza, this room was perfect for a short stay. Super helpful staff made this an easy process.

Stairs, power cut (our floor only), very small shower!

The room was okay, and accommodations were fine, except for the tiny shower and the awkward step up to the toilet. Air conditioner worked great.

Mostly minor annoyances. Beware of the tiny opening to the shower, some bigger size people might not get through. There is a fairly long flight of stairs to the room, which is not necessarily a bad thing, depending on your level of fitness. One thing that is definitely not good is the occasional smell downstairs as you enter the building, which seems like a mixture of the cellar and some industrial lubricants. Not a big deal, if you pass quickly.

loved the simplicity and clean, but the AC was the best

Getting in and out of the shower was difficult along with the raised commode, but we still loved it.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower was small but there was somewhere to put your shampoo
