B&B Il Nido

The staff was really friendly and everything went smooth during check-in. The kitchen was clean and accesible.

The main issue we had was with bed sheets smell, too much of laundry detergent was used. Also we had private bathroom but it was not conected with the room.

Right on the main Street as you arrive into the town. It is a nice walk into the heart of the town, about a kilometre away or it's a short walk to the waterside and it's restaurants. Loads of free parking in the area in the side streets right beside the B&B. There is a takeaway pizza restaurant across the road, with cafes and a bar nearby. The accommodation is up two flights of stairs. The pictures accurately reflected the room. The host was lovely, she prepared a map for me on where to go. Her daughter has perfect English and went through it with me highlighting the beaches worth visiting. The host works in the butchers on the ground floor, guess they own it, so it is very easy to check in. I messaged when I was leaving the next town and they were looking out for me. I didn't have breakfast, but there was a couple there eating as I left, and they looked happy 😊

I am nit picking here. The terrace was shared with the next room, and didn't have a view, as the wall was high. Good for a smoker though.

The owners were super nice and made us feel at home fright from the beginning. The room was clean and big, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was also pretty nice. Nice common area and amazing breakfast! Amazing beaches 10 minutes driving.

Finding a parking spot for our car was maybe the only inconvenient we had, other than that, everything was great and we will definitely come back.

The friendliness of its people! Extraordinary attention and diligence with the tourist, the family that owns the lodging is very supportive and has charm from the first moment of your arrival as an excellent host. The location is central, so you can walk through the port and towards the historic center quickly and a few minutes from tourism within the town of Sant'Antioco. The breakfast was not good for me, because the Italian breakfast consists of 90% flours and sweet products accompanied by tea or coffee and milk, 10% is only salty. So for me a breakfast of this type is fatal. There was no cheese, no eggs, no ham. Lots of jam, nutella and breads are filled with jam and sweet creams. IL NIDO's family was very kind in their conversation, and helped us put away the bikes we rented to go to the beach. They gave us wine from their house and we talked about the life and customs of Sardinia. The Italian gelato, we tried the local ice cream and enjoyed very good flavors.

The restful sleep that one would like to find in lodgings anywhere in the world. A place of human warmth and courtesy but the rooms have the air conditioning engine in the back of the room. The neighboring tourists arrived at midnight and turned on the air conditioning in their room and from midnight until 7 AM the new day was thunderous the NOISE of the engine, so we could not sleep. In the city of Sant'Antioco we were surprised by the way some citizens drive their car, on roads so small and cobbled and accelerate like the wind, so they can generate an accident to the passer-by who walks the city. Most of the historic center is made of stone road and should prohibit the access of vehicles because they use the street as a car highway.

The location is perfect. The owner was very helpful and provided us with useful information that we needed to see the island. You can enjoy your breakfast with a lot of bread.

Very nice host, who suggested a very nice place by the bay for lunch, and helpful with city map, sightseens and everything else. Also, flexible in terms of earlier check in. Very clean

Just the pilow could have been better, but it is far from being bad
