Large Family House

Everything very comfortable for a large family.

Lots of beds for everyone.

Large house that accommodated our overseas family very well. Clean and tidy.

Everything was all good

Good number of rooms and beds with extra pillows and blankets provided. Showers had excellent pressure and there was plenty of hot water even for our big group! 3 bathrooms, and another separate toilet was great for our large group of 16. Michael the host was excellent in accommodating a couple of changes and configurations of the rooms, and his communications were always efficient and friendly messages/emails with quick responses.

The mattresses on most beds were too thin for grown adults. Another couch in the living area would be beneficial for large groups.

3x night stay: Lovely & great space for our family of 7x attending our uncles funeral - Awesome service regarding my bag I left behind by accident. I/we would stay there again.

From a previous 2024 review by another person.... It seems the pungent smell downstairs is still around - A.s.a we opened the door the smell was very strong that we left the door open & opened the windows too down there to get rid of the smell thinking it would only be a one-day smell...but it stayed all 3x days we were there....*Perhaps a few air fresherners should be supplied for the first few days of each groups stay? (or scented candles etc). But other than that, the home is great 👍

The house was awesome; it fit all of us comfortably and there was enough space that our students weren't cramped and on top of each other in the bedrooms. The kitchen was large which was great for such a big group of us and the downstairs/upstairs lounge options made it easy for team bonding and relaxing.

The only thing that we found frustrating was the hot water. With a group so large we found the hot water ran out extremely fast and often we were having cold showers. Other than this everything else was great!

We were staying here with a boys water polo team - we loved that they could all have their own separate beds, there were two large living areas and that the kitchen was well equipped. We could cook easily for the team there and also had enough room for them all to eat together, LOVED the large kitchen bench space and a big fridge/freezer.

What a perfect set up for a sports group. Our team loved the accommodation, and there was enough beds for everyone, which is very hard to find in Auckland. It's in a very quiet area of Auckland too

The fridge has been accidently unplugged, so it was smelly, but we cleaned it up and it was fine after that.
