Salvo was very accommodating. The restaurants recommendations were amazing, especially the one for the street food. The property is very well located, you can walk to any attraction, and there was free parking in the street for the car rental, the apartment is outside of the ZTL. It’s a safe area. The apartment I got was on the first floor with balconies so you can hang wet clothes from the beach and they dry very quickly during the summer. They clean your room on the third day of your stay, I stayed 6 nights. The bed was very comfortable. Everything seems connected to wifi (door lock, AC, outdoor cameras, etc).

I liked everything. Just to clarify, the laundry is a service with a cost of €15 including washing, drying, and detergent. You can do it by yourself in a laundry area or Salvo can take care of it. It takes around 4-5 hours to get the service completed and cannot be done late at night because the noise may disturb other apartments. In another case you could look for laundry services, I found a couple of them opened until 11 pm. At the end, Salvo took care of it the last day of my stay since I returned earlier from the beach and everything was great. For some reason, I felt the AC sometimes was set up differently of what I had chosen. The last night I had a hard time to sleep well because the room was a little warm. Those days Palermo were very hot (some days over 100F) so not sure if that was the issue or if the setting was changed to a different one while I was out of the apartment. One night, when I arrived the setting was in a dry mode instead of cool, so maybe there is an automatic setting to save energy. You could check with Salvo about this when you book, he is very accommodating as I said before.

The place was clean and comfy. Salvo also helped organise transport for us which was super useful given how tricky taxis can be in Sicily.

Everything was perfect. Location great, beautiful and clean room. Mr. Salvo is great host. I would definitely recommend Olivuzza 27 for your holiday in Palermo. 😊

COULDN’T HAVE BEEN BETTER – A TRUE GEM IN PALERMO We absolutely loved this apartment! The location is fantastic, just a few blocks from Teatro Massimo, surrounded by great places to eat, and most importantly, the perfect spot to truly feel the vibrant energy of Palermo and its people. Salvatore was, without a doubt, the best host we’ve had — not only on this trip but possibly in all of our family travels. He welcomed us warmly, gave us amazing recommendations to eat like locals, and even helped us rent a car. He was always attentive to anything we might need. The apartment is beautiful, cozy, and fully equipped: coffee machine with coffee, water, microwave, and even a washer and dryer he kindly allowed us to use. You can tell he has put great care and heart into this place. We traveled with our two teenage sons, and everyone slept wonderfully. The beds are very comfortable, and the whole place truly felt like home. 100% recommended. If we return to Palermo — and honestly, we will — this will be our home again, without question.

Very clean and everything is brand new. Nice place to stay. The owner of the property is very nice and helpful. Very close to the downtown. Highly recommend

This property is centrally located near the old town so getting around is very easy. It makes you feel like you’re part of the neighbourhood and we had locals recognize us. There are many fantastic restaurants near by and the included breakfast was delicious. The apartment itself has been totally renovated and the amenities are top notch!

The property si very well located, just 10 minutes walk to Teatro Massimo and the city center. The apartment is generous, with impecabile facilities (very good internet, very nice air conditioning); coffee and biscuits are on the house. Salvo, our host, was permanently attentive to our needs, and had excellent recommendations for airport transfers or restaurants. It was a real pleasure to stay there. I recommend it 100%!
