Guests highly rate the great location and frequently praise the convenient access to shops.
ZAGood location.
We were there during the most rainiest week and the guest room was leaking. That wasn’t a pleasant experience!

NLLocation is perfect.
The BBQ facilities didn't work after I specifically reached out to check about this.

ZAThe location and place itself was great.
Clive was shocking. Even after sending a message before arriving so that we could meet at the same time, we stood around with our bags waiting for him for nearly 30 minutes outside Pick n Pay. Upon meeting him he FORGOT where the apartment was. So we wandered around the shopping centre aimlessly until he spoke to a security guard who then tried to help him locate where our spot was. He then didn't know how to read the electricity metre in the unit. So said if it starts beeping, we must just contact him. He said he thought it was enough but wasn't sure. It started beeping early on Sunday morning, clearly meaning there wasn't enough electricity in the unit and wasn't prepped for us for the weekend - luckily we only used the unit to sleep in and shower in. Upon leaving, I tried to find out what to do with the keys and messaged Clive. He issued no instructions, so after waiting 15 minutes, just decided to leave them on the kitchen counter and the front door unlocked and left. One of the pillows in the room ripped open from the stitching being loose.
ZAThe only thing we liked was the location. Clive was very helpful.
The apartment is very tired and urgently needs an upgrade, a paint and a fresh look. Photos on the site are very deceiving. Eden on bay should have face recognition to be able to enter the property or use finger prints. There should be an office where this is done instead of Clive having to run around to find us. The access card is like a credit card and today no one wants to carry cards. We were not made aware that we had to bring our own handwash and toilet paper.. The kitchen had ants and apparently the owner is aware of it. There were not many cups available. The carpet, couch, pillows and the chairs in the lounge needs to donated - it was awful and so uncomfortable. Need proper blinds or curtains. The lounge window only had a net. The patio area was lovely but the chairs need to be donated. The braai stand is so rusted. Bedrooms need new beds, please remove those awful carpets and replace with laminated floors - much more hygienic. The plug on the side was so filthy - didn't use it. The scatter cushions are awful. Bathrooms were great but the shower in the main bedroom, water seeps through the glass - it made such a mess!! Hand soap should be provided. As there is no place to dry clothes, having a washing machine with a dryer option would be great. I have stayed in many apartments over the years and this one was the worst one. I am very sure if the apartment were upgraded, it would be an amazing place to stay. The day we checked out, although check-out time is at 10am, Clive was at our apartment at 09h45. The cleaning service was waiting at our door from 09h50 - this wasn't great. I am sure that there have been issues with guests checking out on time but then charge a fee rather than the cleaning staff hovering around the apartment.

The furniture is old, the lounge carpet was hung on the chairs on the balcony which meant we had to take it in ourselves. Bed mattress or bed not sure which one felt like a boat. Bedside lamp dusty. Clive the host that welcomed us extremely rude and arrogant. He came 09:53 and quoted him vebartim " when are you getting out?" We need to leave immediately because he has a busy day. He found us finishing breakfast and bags by the door, we had to leave the food there as he wanted us out asap. I'm not sure if he treated us like that because we were African Ladies. The furniture is as the photos however they are old they need to be refreshed. It's says you have view to the beach, you can hardly see the beach as there's a big tree in front. Of the balcony.

ZW5 light bulbs not working (both bedroom, bathrooms, lounge), light fitting in back bedroom flicking, no bedside lamp so had to either put up with flicking light or be in darkness (opted for the latter) hob not working (apparently aware that it had not been working for a while), dustbin broken and lid would not close / stayed open. View from balcony obscured by tree, we dont advocate cutting down trees but trimming.
