Luxury 5-bed House near NEC & BHX

Good location. Plenty of space

Very cold on arrival and took more than 12 hours to warm. Partly due to uncarpeted hard cold floors and no curtains, just blinds. Very creaky floors upstairs , so disturbing for bedrooms downstairs. Beds rather hard.

Spacious house with comfy beds. Every bedroom had its own bathroom. Bedrooms cleaned well. Easy check in / out. Comfy living room sofas.

One bedroom has window issues. Terrible draft so really cold. Pillows not comfy. Couldn't get TV to work and no response from owner. Conservatory light not working. Couldn't control heating. Only one small towel in our bedroom. Mot sure about the others. Wardrobes not in all bedrooms. Couldn't find hairdryer. Couldn't control oven. No curtains. Only blinds which aren't blackout. Front door needs to be better lit as small ramp at entrance so dangerous in the dark. Door closers need adjusting as most doors slammed. Could be dangerous to little ones hands.

The property was clean ,good size rooms and great location Reason for staying was the NEC Christmas party

Two of the double beds out of 5 didn’t get a good nights sleep Room 3 and 5 Half hour late giving us the key code And the cleaner was waiting outside for half hour before we left the property at 11am

Comfortable beds and sofas. Well equipped kitchen. Great location, very quiet at night. Easy check in process

The property has great parking, it has 5 large bedrooms, 3 of which have en-suites. The lounge and kitchen are a good size.

We found correspondence with the property problematic. The lock box for the key has a code which should have been sent during the day of our stay. I called several times for it including leaving messages, emailed via booking.com with no response we were literally sat outside in the dark and cold waiting. Ultimately I went next door and the guy there had the personal number of the owner and I called him he didn’t answer so I texted him and he texted the lockbox number. I had also emailed him before we visited to enquire about parking and he didn’t respond. The dining room is in the conservatory and is very cold in winter not just because it’s a conservatory but because the door to the outside doesn’t seal properly, lighting in here is also poor. I would not call it luxury but it is a nice place and a good price so worth booking.

Location for NEC was excellent and local restaurants etc were fab. Lots of space and nicely decorated

The key code we were given was wrong and after 20 min or more waiting outside in the cold and needing the toilet after a long day setting up at the NEC was unacceptable. Made over 5 calls and e-mails before we were told a different number so that was a bad start. The house sleeps in theory 10 but there was not enough cutlery and plates for that amount of people. No dishwasher tabs, no wine glasses! There is no light in the conservatory area where the dining table is situated so how are you meant to eat in the dark???
