B&B Maqueda - Room & Suite

Central, Clean and Modern + Had a cofee Machine and daily cleaning.

Unfortunately , the plumbing of the adjacent rooms (shower, sink, Toilet) were excessively noisy when used. Otherwise the place would have been a 5 Star.

Camera molto moderna, pulita e con un ottima posizione. Inoltre, abbiamo trovato una jacuzzi all’interno fantastica.

The air conditioning is controlled by the off and shuts off at night

Ubicazione della struttura nel centro storico, camera ampia e vasca idromassaggio top, letto super comodo.

Lieve rumore idromassaggio in attivazione automatica, ingresso del palazzo e ascensore da riqualificare.

La ubicación excelente y limpieza, además de las facilidades en la comunicación con los responsables del alojamiento. Rapidez en la atención y claridad. Excelente trato

Algo de ruido exterior, circunstancial, por un grupo de fuera. Faltaría mejorar insonorización entre los dormitorios.

Location is good, just off the historical center. Room size is good. The blackouts are good if you can use them.

Where to start.. This company runs a hotel-like B&B, their policies are dishonest. They advertise things they either don't have or they don't work. After self check-in they tell told me that the AC doesn't work (they even went ahead and told me that the AC is advertised because its there you just cant use it) Then they cited an ordinance that applies to public buildings as well as some hotels which have certain kinds of AC systems as the reason for the AC not working. According to them the AC doesn't have to work until May. Then they said that I should let fresh air in, and even offered to turn on "ventilation" on the AC unit. The problem is: its impossible to sleep with the window open. The location of the hotel is right of the busiest street in Palermo. You will hear alarms, street vendors, motorcycles, music etc.. I traveled Sicily for 14 days, stayed in 7 B&B, this was the only one that advertised something that didn't work on purpose. (All the B&B had working AC units except this one) The apartments are build with the thinnest walls you can imagine, you will hear everything there is going on in the other rooms. Every time the door to the main hall closes its so loud that you will think they're ramming it down. The entrance hallway smells like a sewer, its dirty and full of trash cans. The elevator is very small. Staff lacks training. If you want a straight deal and be able to sleep, go somewhere else.
