Fully equipped for all our needs for a short stay. Management was very responsive

No elevators. Can be a concern for travellers with heavy luggage

Great location, spacious apartment, comfortable and clean - we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. The hosts were very communicative, responsive, and helpful.

We loved the all the big french doors and the high ceilings, it was a beautiful apartment and the kitchen was well stocked with all the tools needed to cook, including oil and vinegar. We also LOVED the location, one block from the river and in a great part of the old city. We walked EVERYWHERE from this location. Despite the central city location, the sound proof windows kept the apartment quiet when we needed. Also, the hosts were super easy to reach and communicate with, they made everything easy, especially check in and check out. I also liked that the police station was right across the street, we felt VERY safe. We also loved the beautiful park across the street as well as the parking garage and the Finders' Market and several small grocery stores and wineshops within a block's walk.

The only negative I can think of is that there is no view of the Douro river from the apartment, since it was about a block and half away.

Clean large well located apartment. Recently renovated to a high standard. Highly recommend.

Couple of minor comments - suggestions to hosts rather than complaints. Entrance is poorly lit. As a guy I’m not particularly concerned. For a single woman returning late at night I would think they would like to see more light in the area inside the front door. Numbers on apartment doors would help the check in process. Some countries start their ground floor at 0, others at 1. How many floors up correspond to which apartments?
